Wonderland has been a challenge since the story first began to unfold in my mind in early 2025. When I visualized my friend and actress in the lead role, everything suddenly clicked. I had been longing to step behind the camera for a long time (after all, I wrote my first screenplay back in 2018, and I’ve been a devoted cinephile for as long as I can remember). In filmmaking, I have finally found one of the most powerful ways to express my ideals while engaging in social critique. Filmed between October 2025 and January 2026, Wonderland tells the story of a woman searching for herself in an era where fear was never so quiet before.
